Student Pastor – Campus

The Student Pastor – Campus supports the vision and mission of CBC Students by providing pastoral leadership, discipleship, and oversight of the student ministry at their assigned campus. This role exists to help students grow in their relationship with God and His people and become the good news of Jesus in every place.

Working alongside the Campus Pastor and Navigation Student Pastor, this individual leads all aspects of the campus student ministry, develops volunteer leaders, shepherds students and families, builds relationships throughout the surrounding community, and ensures the successful execution of the CBC Students ministry strategy. • Establish a consistent presence in local schools and at student-focused community events.

• Provide pastoral care, counseling, spiritual direction, and crisis support to students and families.

• Partner with parents and equip them to serve as the primary spiritual influence in their students' lives.

• Lead and oversee campus participation in Freedom Conference, mission trips, retreats, City Nights, and other CBC Students initiatives.

• Partner closely with the Campus Pastor and Navigation Student Pastor to maintain alignment in vision, culture, programming, teaching, systems, and ministry strategy.

• Participate in CBC Students meetings, training, planning rhythms, and collaborative initiatives across campuses.

• Teach and communicate God's Word during MDWK, conferences, retreats, mission trips, and other ministry environments as assigned.

• Develop student leaders and create meaningful opportunities for students to serve, invite, lead, and live on mission.

• Oversee first-time guest follow-up, new-believer follow-up, baptism next steps, attendance tracking, and other established ministry processes.

• Maintain accurate and current ministry records using The Rock, ESpace, Planning Center, and other CBC systems.

• Manage campus-specific communication with students, parents, and leaders in alignment with the broader CBC Students communication strategy.

• Collaborate with campus staff, central ministry teams, worship, production, communications, events, and other departments to advance the mission of CBC Students.

• Steward the campus student ministry budget, resources, facilities, and equipment responsibly.

• Evaluate ministry health, identify areas for growth, and develop plans to increase attendance, leader capacity, group participation, and spiritual engagement.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
