Job SummaryThe Disability Specialist I provides case management, disability education, guidance, and coordination of academic accommodations for students with disabilities. The position reviews and interprets disability documentation to determine eligibility for services and appropriate reasonable accommodations in accordance with University policy and applicable federal and state laws. The Disability Specialist I manages a large caseload of students with disabilities and serves as a primary resource to facilitate access to University academic programs and activities.
The position collaborates with students, faculty,staff, and campus partners to implement reasonable accommodations.
