Assistinprovidingleadershipandcoordinationtodeliveranalignedandarticulatedinstructionalprograminall subject areas in PK-12.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor'sdegreerequired
- Texas Teaching certification required
- Minimum of three years of exemplary teaching
- Master'sdegree in Curriculum and Instruction(preferred)

- Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers
- Ability to coordinate a district-wide program
- Analytical skills to interpret data and identify performance gaps
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills tocoach teacher son effective instructional strategies
- Collaborateandassistinthereview,development,andrevisionofallcoresubjectareaprogramsandrelated curriculum documents and materials, including curriculum guides, course outlines, and teaching plans.
- Workcooperativelywithcoordinators,campus administrators,andteachersindevelopinginstructional programs in all core subjects.
- Support Instructional Leadership Teams (ILT) for planning,development,andproductionofcurriculummaterials, processes, and best practices that are evaluated and acknowledged to be highly effective in improving student outcomes.
- Assist in the development of curriculum-based assessments in all core subject areas
- Supportcoordinatorswithdataanalysisreflectingcurrentstudentperformanceorotherdataasneededtoexamine curriculum and instruction program effectiveness.
- Assistin creating instructional materials tosupport staff in accomplishing program goals.
- Assist in the preparation of ordering instructional materials, supplemental supports, and supplies
- Conductandcollaboratewithcoordinatorsonstaffdevelopmentsessions,includingsessionsonthedeliveryof instruction, enriched learning in classroom settings, and new instructional practices in all core subject areas.
- Observeclassroominstructionandprovidefeedbackandassistancetoclassroomteacherstofacilitateimprovementand innovation.
- Demonstrate teaching strategies with teachers in professional development settings.
- Attendand present the most current curriculum staff development.
- Assistin providing resources and materials tosupport staff in accomplishing program goals.
- Use effective communication skills topresent information accurately and clearly.
- Keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies.
- Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents as required.
- Assist with the evaluation and selection of supplemental equipment and supplies for the program.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Light Work:may requireoccasionallight lifting.
- Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
- Position is an in-office setting and may involve prolonged work at adesk in one location.
- Moderate travel is required.
