Teaching Services For Deaf And Hard-Of-Hearing Students
This role provides teaching services to deaf and hard-of-hearing students in San Antonio, Texas, on a 36-week contract. You will deliver specialized instruction, adapt curriculum, and support student progress. The position offers competitive pay up to $55 per hour and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to deaf and hard-of-hearing learners.
- Utilize American Sign Language and other communication tools to facilitate instruction.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning goals.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and special education staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education to stay current in deaf education.
