Role Description The Elementary School Teacher (2nd & 4th grade) is a full‑time, on‑site role located in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with grade‑level standards and the school’s educational philosophy. Daily responsibilities include managing the classroom environment, assessing student progress, providing differentiated instruction, and maintaining regular communication with families and colleagues.
The teacher collaborates with the school team to integrate Jewish values into the curriculum, participate in school events, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.

- Strong foundation in Elementary Education and Education, with the ability to design age‑appropriate learning experiences.
- Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management, differentiated instruction, and student assessment.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including planning, implementing, and refining instructional units.
- Effective Communication skills for engaging with students, families, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education;
Texas state teaching certification for elementary grades preferred. - Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
- Interest in or openness to working within a Jewish day school setting; prior experience in faith‑based or independent schools is a plus.
- Commitment to collaboration, ongoing professional growth, and supporting the school’s mission and community.
