Purpose:
Work with school faculty and staff, students, parents, and community to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling program at school assigned. The School Counselor will provide educational career, social, and personal guidance and counseling for all students.
Education/Certification: Master's degree Valid Texas School Counselor Certificate Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the employee
Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience: Minimum two (3) years teaching experience
