Role Description

The Kindergarten Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for planning and delivering standards-based lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and foundational skills for future academic success. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment; implementing age-appropriate instructional strategies; differentiating instruction for diverse learners; and assessing student progress using a variety of tools.

The teacher will communicate regularly with families and colleagues, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with campus staff to support school-wide initiatives and events. Additional duties include classroom management, participation in professional development, and contributing to a positive school culture aligned with the school’s core values.

Qualifications
  • Strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience in early childhood or elementary instructional practices.
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation aligned with state standards.
  • Effective Communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.
  • Experience in Training or mentoring students through structured activities and guided learning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid Texas teaching certification in Early Childhood/Elementary preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and support for diverse learners, including those with special needs.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively, use instructional technology, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and uphold the school’s core values in daily practice.
