Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, and prepare students for performances, auditions, and school programs. You'll collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessory sales, and recital events while maintaining accurate scheduling and progress records.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons for a range of ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Assess student progress and communicate with parents/guardians
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and progress notes
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals and accessory sales
• Promote music programs, recitals, and in store educational events
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Maintain instruments and teaching spaces in good condition
