Description JOB SUMMARY

Oversee the operation, administration, development, and roll-out of comprehensive Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) leadership supports, aligning holistic student services with data-driven outcomes.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Master’s degree required from an accredited university.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate required.
  • Three years of relevant experience or successful coaching experience in a school leadership or regional education service center position.
  • Knowledge or experience with MTSS systems development and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic leadership coaching focused on implementation and change management.
  • Expertise in the domains of team development, change facilitation, and engagement and collaboration.
  • Knowledge or experience with various data collection methods to monitor student progress in tiered intervention.
  • Experience in facilitating groups in large and small group settings.
  • Knowledge or experience in evaluating effective instructional programs (K-12) and appropriate assessment.
  • Experience in program development, implementation and staff development.

Exceptions to these requirements will be considered based on exemplary skills, training, and record of success.

PRODUCTS/OUTCOMES
  • Establish and maintain internal protocols for documenting the status of all projects, including details and timelines, within and across work groups and through TEA for final approval, if required.
  • Ensure that all required reports are completed and submitted prior to expected deadlines.
  • Assist campuses/districts by serving as a catalyst for appropriate and productive change that increases student achievement by designing and implementing a high-quality standards-based program aimed at instruction, services, and interventions to improve outcomes for all students.
  • Provide targeted technical assistance and coaching to campus and district leadership teams to ensure the fidelity of implementation for system-wide initiatives.
  • Analyze systemic barriers to implementation and collaborate with district leadership to strengthen systems and supports.
  • Work collaboratively with other components, divisions, and Education Service Centers to strengthen the region-wide delivery system.
  • Collect data and report data through Qualtrics or other data reporting platforms.
  • Execute statewide initiative implementation activities as assigned.
  • Facilitate professional learning opportunities that build capacity and sustainability.
  • Prepare updates and communication for stakeholders at the district, regional and state level.
  • Design, develop, and deliver staff development that impacts student achievement through system-wide change.
  • Implement professional development, training, and instructional activities at the local, state and regional levels that include academic, behavior and mental health related topics.
  • Support campus initiatives related to culture and climate.
  • Engage in Center wide, Division, and Component initiatives.
  • Deliver products/services in a timely manner.
  • Report progress of improvement efforts to Center personnel and local education agencies.
  • Assist districts in evaluating the effectiveness of their student support programming.
