Industrial/Organizational Psychologist. The successful applicant will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses IO (e.g., general IO and IO-related specialty courses) and other courses appropriate to their expertise, direct students in our MS and PhD programs, maintain a successful research program, secure extramural funding, and engage in service to the department, college, university, and the profession.
Nearly half of UTSA’s student body are first generation college students, many of whom are active‑ duty military, reservists, or veterans. Successful candidates will need to be able to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of these populations and support the University’s commitment to thrive as a Hispanic Serving Institution and a model for student success.
The Department of Psychology fosters an excellent research and mentoring environment for faculty, in particular for early career faculty. Salary and start‑up packages for the position are highly competitive. Priority deadline is 10/15/2024, but we will accept applications until filled.
