Position SummaryThe H-E-B School of Business Administration invites part-time faculty candidates for Lecturer in Marketing within the H-E-B School of Business Administration for spring 2027. The position will teach undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses in a face-to-face format. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission. Official duties and responsibilities of part-time faculty members at the University include teaching and professional activities as assigned.

Essential Functions Basic Instructional Duties:- Prepare course outlines and teach based on approved departmental syllabi; prepare and deliver consistent, interactive lectures.
- Prepare and administer timely and meaningful assessments for assigned courses.
- Work collaboratively with departmental faculty to ensure standard curriculum outcomes are met.
- Be available outside of class to help students learn as well as answer their questions (1 hour per 3-hour class, physically and/or electronically).
- Adhere to UIW Faculty Handbook policies and procedures, including timely record keeping of student activities, fair and equitable evaluation of student performance, and timely feedback to students regarding their performance in the course.
- Conduct respectful relationships with faculty, staff, and students both in and outside the classroom.
- Maintain contact with the department chair and participate in meetings upon request.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to effectively learn, use, and incorporate instructional technology into teaching;
- Willingness and flexibility to teach day, evening and weekend sections as needed;
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures;
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA .
- A Master’s Degree in a business or marketing-related discipline is required to teach undergraduate classes.
- A Doctoral Degree in a business or marketing-related discipline is required to teach graduate courses.
One (1) year or professional work experience in the field of marketing such as digital marketing, advertising, sales, social media, marketing analysis, and marketing operations.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience teaching marketing at the college or university setting.
- Marketing analytics fluency (dashboarding, attribution, basic SQL or Python) and the applied use of generative AI tools in content and campaign workflows.
