The Department of Accounting in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio consists of 25tenure/tenure track and fixed-term-track faculty members and offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in accounting. Our faculty and students have been recognized regionally, nationally,and internationally for excellence in both research and teaching.

Position Summary

The Alvarez College of Business, Department of Accounting, isseeking qualified applicants for vacancies in the upcoming academic year (Fall 2026). This includes Principles of Accounting I(financial accounting), Principles of Accounting II (managerial accounting), intermediate accounting, accounting information systems, cost accounting, federal income taxation, auditing, andother relevant accounting courses in our Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting or Master's in Accountancy program.
