Northwest Hills Baptist Church in NW San Antonio seeks a FT Pastor who will also serve as Chaplain of Northwest Hills Christian School.
Description:
As all pastors in Christian churches should be, our pastor will need to be a man described by Titus 1:5-9. He should guide the church as described in 1 Peter 5:1-4.
A short, not comprehensive, list of duties include:
- Preach the Gospel
- Shepherd the flock
- Serve the people for Jesus' sake
- Visit those in hospitals or homebound
- Perform weddings and funerals
- Spend time at the church with regular days and office hours
- Spend time in the school, offering devotions, counseling, and encouragement
The pastor will be the moderator and will preside at all business meetings of the church.
The pastor is an ex-officio member of every committee, but shall not coerce or usurp any of the duties or powers of the committees.
