Assistant Director; Temp

We are looking for a flexible, motivated, and growth-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Director. This is an as-needed support position that provides coverage for absences and supports the administrative team as needed by the school. The ideal candidate has Lead Teacher experience, has mentored or coached others, and is interested in growing into a leadership role. Because we are a Spanish immersion school, candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

This position requires communicating with teachers and staff in Spanish and parents and families in English. Candidates must be available to work between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, as needed, and be willing to work at any of our three campuses. You will only be assigned to one campus per day.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Previous Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting team members
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented
• Eager to learn, grow, and take on additional leadership responsibilities

• Provide classroom and staff coverage as needed
• Support teachers with classroom management, behavior, and instructional needs
• Coach and provide feedback to teachers and caregivers
• Assist with daily school operations and administrative tasks
  
  Help ensure compliance with Child Care Minimum Standards
• Open and/or close the school as needed
• Provide Front Desk coverage and assist with family communication
• Greet families, visitors, and prospective families
• Assist wherever needed throughout the school

This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in growing into school leadership. Based on school needs, performance, and demonstrated leadership, there may be an opportunity for this role to develop into a full-time Assistant Director position.
