The Montessori School of San Antonio is seeking an experienced certified Montessori Lower Elementary Lead Guide for the school year. This is a full-time position with benefits. Applicants should be passionate about the Montessori philosophy and lifelong learners who are looking to serve and honor the needs of the whole child. The ideal candidate would be a seasoned professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willing to partner with parents and collaborate with a dedicated educational team to provide a nurturing authentic Montessori program for students.

Located on 24 acres thirteen miles north of downtown San Antonio, The Montessori School of San Antonio is an established, mission-driven organization that has been in operation for 50 years serving children Pre-K through eighth grade.
Duties and Responsibilities- Implementing the Montessori philosophy and methodology for children ages6-9
- Support and facilitate the unique growth of each individual student
- Supervise a Classroom Assistant
- Collaborate and plan with the Lower Elementary team
- Other duties as assigned
- Lower Elementary (Elementary I)
Certification from an accredited AMS, AMI or MACTE program - Bachelor's degree
- At least three years experience teaching in a Montessori classroom
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate attitude
- Understanding of child development
- Professionalism, including attendance, positivity, and flexibility
- More thanthree years experience teaching in a Montessori classroom
