Field Technician – Jasper, Texas

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Technician to join our Engineering & Operations team supporting the East Texas area field group. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency restoration, and network modernization to support one of the nation’s most advanced wireless networks.

Jasper, Texas – East Texas area (within driving distance of Houston, Beaumont, and the Louisiana border).

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts.
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required.
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians.
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Develop yourself through continuous learning to stay current on existing and new systems and products.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by business management.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Vocational/technical training or related field is preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or related technical roles.
• 2–4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field.

• Electronics – Basic operational knowledge of RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio, AC-DC power systems.
• RAN – Experience with Nokia RAN equipment is a plus.
• Microwave Technology – Experience with Ceragon Microwave technology is a plus.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem solving using creativity and innovation.
• Computer fluency with Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of Internet Protocol and ability to incorporate AI into solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and exhibits initiative.
• Basic leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility with changing environments and priorities.
• Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotation for the East Texas area.
• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds and work outdoors in varied conditions.

• At least 21 years of age to operate a company‑assigned vehicle.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Travel required within the East Texas area.

Base Pay Range: $27.16 – $48.99 per hour. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
