Position PurposeCreate a safe working environment for team members by developing and implementing effective safety programs, conduct training that focus on keeping team members safe and minimizing workplace incidents, and maintaining compliance standards that align with local, state and federal regulations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics
- Promote a safe work culture within a high-paced manufacturing environment
- Coordinate emergency response plans and safety drills
- Maintain safety documentation and reports
- Investigate incident and accidents and assist in creating countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence
- Provide safety training and certifications to team members
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- 3-5 years safety experience in manufacturing or construction setting
- Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, regulatory compliance and abatement
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, safety management software and tools
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field
- Certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician, CSHO (Certified Safety and Health Official)
- Bilingual English/ Spanish is preferred.
- First Aid/CPR trainer certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise.
- Ability to understand processes (system and non-system), troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
- Manufacturing/factory environment.
