BIM Coordinator; Electrical

• - At least 6 years of electrical experience
• - Journeyman Electrician or BIM experience
• - Commercial experience
• - Revit or Navisworks modeling experience

An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is looking for a VDC/BIM Coordinator (Electrical) . The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, hold a journeyman's or master electrician license, and possess basic computer knowledge. The main software's used are Revit and Navisworks. As a VDC/BIM Coordinator (Electrical), you will be responsible for virtually designing electrical installations for new and existing commercial construction projects.

• · Develop and manage virtual models of electrical systems for commercial construction projects.
• · Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
• · Utilize software tools to create detailed electrical layouts, schematics, and diagrams.
• · Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• · Identify and resolve design conflicts and issues.
• · Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• · Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team during the installation phase.
