Process Engineer, Photo

Tower Semiconductor is searching for a process engineer within Photo to support sustaining, improvements, and process transfer and development in a high volume manufacturing fab located in San Antonio, TX. The Tower Semiconductor fab in San Antonio is a growing manufacturing site, delivering specialty electronic devices for a wide range of applications with high quality, low cost, and excellent cycle times.

A qualified candidate will be self‑motivated, have strong technical and analytical skills, and possess a practical, hands‑on approach to engineering problems.

• fCan take ownership of the processes assigned and establish the direction for improvements, sustaining and overall operatio
• nCan work closely with process and integration engineers to improve process metrics, such as SPC, yield, para metrics, and defects, as well as to achieve first-pass success of technology transfer
• sCan take ownership of selection and qualification of semiconductor processing tool
• sCan monitor fab metrics with statistical process control (SPC
• )Can provide root cause investigation of discrepant material. Implement yield and defect improvement projects
