Engineering Technician​/Special Inspector

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Engineering Technician / Special Inspector located in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities include conducting tests on construction materials, performing inspections at construction sites, and documenting results. The role involves working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Additional duties include preparing reports, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.

• Experience with construction materials testing, geotechnical fieldwork, and special inspections
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams
• Physical capability to perform fieldwork, including lifting equipment and working outdoors
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Certifications such as ACI, NICET, and TxDOT (preferred but not required)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in engineering, construction, or a related field is a plus
