Step into Your New RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a versatile CADD Designer proficient in Micro Station Open Roads and/or AutoCAD Civil3D. - Prepare a variety of civil design deliverables such as plans, exhibits, maps, 2D/3D models, and quantity estimates, ensuring consistency with project and client standards.
- Collaborate closely with civil engineers and project leaders to translate design concepts into detailed, constructible models and drawings.
- Apply strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills to support drainage, roadway, utility, and site design tasks across diverse infrastructure projects.
- Follow internal QA/QC workflows, client CADD standards, and established project procedures to maintain high‑quality, consistent deliverables.
- Manage assigned tasks within budgeted hours and project schedules, communicating progress and providing updates, including preparing meeting minutes when required.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, taking direction effectively and contributing to a positive, coordinated project environment.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills across design teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Show a strong desire to learn and grow in civil engineering design practices, software capabilities, and industry standards.
- Leverage GIS skills—when applicable—to integrate spatial datasets, improve base mapping accuracy, support environmental or planning coordination, and enhance overall project data quality.
