Description
  • To lead implementation of processes, equipment, tooling and required infrastructure per Client's products and industry requirements.
  • To perform and execute training plans, prepare manufacturing document specifications, coordinate pilot builds, and capture and follow up all issues identified in the implementation process.
  • To perform Manufacturing process readiness with cross-functional teams focused on Tooling, equipment and safety to guarantee the quality of the product.
  • To define, manage, track and report project budgets regarding capital and expenses.
  • To coordinate design reviews with vendors, designers and other stakeholders as required.
  • To keep records and complete process documentation including but not limited to PFMEA, standard work instructions, process change request and buy‑off forms, Statement of Work documents (SOW), design concerns, problem follow‑up sheets, etc.
  • To perform layout updates as required per new process and/or process updates.
  • Contractor Engineer should be adaptable and prepared to contribute to a variety of tasks to support other Manufacturing engineers to achieve new product introduction goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing with a demonstrated history of successfully completing projects and leading new process setup.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or ProE), and other engineering software (e.g., Minitab, MATLAB, or similar).
