The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Production Engineering Senior Manager (M-Level) in San Antonio, TX to support the VC-25B team.
The VC-25B Production Engineering Senior Manager leads the Planning and Integration teams including Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Industrial Engineering (IE) managers and engineers. The role leads VC-25B planning of design requirements and develops production plans that ensure paper, processes and tools are ready for build. They provide leadership, planning, coordination, and people skills to the VC-25B Production Engineering organization.
Position Responsibilities- Ownership to plan, coordinate, and manage baseline build plans, precedence networks and production readiness activities
- Work in partnership with design, production, and program leadership to ensure balance in cost, schedule and quality of product.
- Ability to multi-task and effect immediate recovery plans for unplanned events.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 5+ years’ management experience.
- 5+ years’ production engineering experience.
- Previous experience with manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering tools and processes
- Substantial manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering domain knowledge as manager and individual contributor
- Knowledge of production engineering processes and tools.
- Experience with large-scale production improvement implementations.
- Coaching, guiding, and leading production improvements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple groups and functions.
Position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Security Clearance: must obtain U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Relocation: offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Shift: 1st shift.

Summary pay range: $198,900 - $169,100
