We are seeking a qualified Inside Sales Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will provide vital support to our outside sales team and customers, offering expertise for our HVAC product range, including hydronic and DX equipment, lab exhaust systems, and energy recovery systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical field and knowledge of HVAC and commercial construction. This position provides a fantastic career opportunity with the potential for growth into Outside Sales within our company.

Responsibilities:
  • The Inside Sales Engineer will support the outside sales team and customers to ensure satisfaction and drive future business.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for HVAC systems, minimizing risks while maintaining low costs.
  • The Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical submittals for engineering approval.
  • Assist sales teams and customers with product selections and applications as the Inside Sales Engineer.
  • Coordinate product delivery, manage warranty claims, and address field-related issues.
  • Maintain CRM and an organized project filing system, ensuring smooth project execution for the Inside Sales Engineer.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • Related internship or work experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • The Inside Sales Engineer must be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to high-quality, accurate work.
  • Self-starter with the ability to problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, as the Inside Sales Engineer will experience varying tasks and responsibilities on a daily basis.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to collaborate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office tools.
