Data Reporting Solutions Manager Job Summary
The CVI Data and Reporting Solutions Manager provides expert technical guidance, analysis, and reporting support to Customer Value Optimization (CVI) programs and projects. This role ensures that customer initiatives align with strategic energy goals, technical standards, and operational performance metrics. The manager will oversee data integration, initiative tracking, and performance reporting to optimize results and improve customer satisfaction.
Data Reporting Solutions Manager Responsibilities- Perform technical review and analysis of initiatives designed to meet customer requests and needs.
- Review company and customer agreements related to CVI initiatives.
- Ensure project results meet goals related to technical quality, reliability, and improvement impact.
- Monitor project performance and recommend changes, follow-ups, or resource adjustments to maintain success.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate improvement activities to meet customer requirements.
- Provide account managers with accurate information to keep customers informed.
- Coordinate initiative reporting, analysis, and tracking for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure successful project completion and performance.
- Create and design reports using data from systems such as SAP, ARM (WMIS), and Service Suite.
- Analyze initiative data to determine if goals and targets are being met.
- Develop and implement program adjustments for underperforming initiatives.
- Provide technical assistance and engineering recommendations to initiative managers or owners.
- Review and recommend process improvements within CVI or related departments.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and methods to support customer needs.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute technical contracts for customer initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop contract proposals requiring engineering analysis and development.
- Perform technical reviews of customer-impacting processes and develop improvement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, training, and auditable organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain initiative tracking reports.
- Support additional project and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Subject Matter Expert experience in customer service, energy/utility engineering and construction, energy initiatives, or program management.
- Advanced understanding of local electrical systems and related operations.
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development using tools such as Tableau.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to engage customers and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience writing and managing large contracts.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an ABET‑accredited university, or extensive engineering design experience.
- Professional certifications such as PE, CFA, PMP, Six Sigma/LEAN, or equivalent.
- Advanced degree in a business‑related field (MBA, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.).
