Requirements:
#Role Summary

* In this role, you will serve as a Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly and Installation) supporting integrated product teams by analyzing product development, conducting complex producibility studies, and developing and implementing manufacturing plans for aircraft assembly and installation. You will act as a subject matter expert in build integration, advanced design solutions, and lean manufacturing practices while supporting program execution onsite in San Antonio, Texas.

#Education & Job Requirements

* You must have

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field from an ABET-accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* A minimum of 10 years of related work experience in manufacturing or production engineering.

* A minimum of 5 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

* A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting the development of engineering technical data packages for aircraft parts and components.

* A minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing professional and technical writing skills while collaborating in team environments to resolve technical issues.

* Experience using CATIA.

* Ability to work variable shifts, including 1st and 2nd shift, based on business needs.

* Ability to work 100% onsite in San Antonio, Texas, with relocation completed prior to start at the candidate's own expense.

* Ability to obtain required customer program access, including successful completion of background checks and access approval requirements.

* Successful completion of required training, including on-the-job or formal classroom training, is a contingency of assignment.

#Preferred Skills

* You will have

* A minimum of 5 years of experience working with IVT.

* Experience using GoldESP systems.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.

#Job Duties & Functions

* You will be able

* Implement design and build plan changes while minimizing disruption and maximizing benefits through collaborative manufacturing engineering processes.

* Integrate changes across affected commodities and execute build integration milestones.

* Develop, refine, and implement manufacturing plans for assembly and installation activities.

* Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and manufacturing processes.

* Support execution of build integration by providing visibility into engineering design changes, risks, and milestone impacts.

* Facilitate collaboration and integration across multiple commodities and stakeholder groups.

* Create installation planning documentation and support installation activities shipside in San Antonio.

* Resolve complex technical and producibility issues while ensuring contract requirements, specifications, and schedules are maintained.

* Participate in process and tool improvement initiatives to support team performance.

* Provide guidance and mentoring to others through structured knowledge sharing.

* Go up and down stairs as required in a manufacturing environment.

* Work in small or confined spaces.

* Lift and carry loads of approximately 35 pounds.
