Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electromechanical systems, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the supply chain and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Support the effectiveness of supplier-related processes within the site Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal standards.
• Lead supplier performance monitoring using key metrics such as defect rates, corrective actions, and trend analysis.
• Manage incoming quality issues, including defect analysis, material dispositions, and nonconformance tracking.
• Drive systemic corrective actions at suppliers utilizing methodologies like 8D, DMAIC, or A3.
• Lead supplier qualification activities, including PPAP approvals, process validation, and production readiness assessments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience with structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, DMAIC, or A3.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
