We are seeking a motivated Surveyor in Training (SIT) to join their growing surveying team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue developing their technical surveying skills while working on a variety of land development, infrastructure, and commercial projects throughout Texas.
This role offers strong mentorship, career growth toward RPLS licensure, and exposure to both field and office operations in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
- Support field crews with data collection and project coordination
- Process and review survey data using industry-standard software
- Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Maintain project schedules and quality standards
- Assist with research of deeds, easements, and title documents
- SIT certification preferred or actively pursuing SIT status
- Experience in land surveying or civil/site development projects
- Familiarity with Trimble, Leica, GPS, robotic total stations, or related equipment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or survey processing software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
