We are seeking a motivated Surveyor in Training (SIT) to join their growing surveying team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue developing their technical surveying skills while working on a variety of land development, infrastructure, and commercial projects throughout Texas.

This role offers strong mentorship, career growth toward RPLS licensure, and exposure to both field and office operations in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
  • Support field crews with data collection and project coordination
  • Process and review survey data using industry-standard software
  • Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
  • Maintain project schedules and quality standards
  • Assist with research of deeds, easements, and title documents
Qualifications
  • SIT certification preferred or actively pursuing SIT status
  • Experience in land surveying or civil/site development projects
  • Familiarity with Trimble, Leica, GPS, robotic total stations, or related equipment
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or survey processing software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
