We are a well established, family run business with over 45 years of experience serving TX. Due to massive growth we are looking for a talented Professional Land Surveyor in and around San Antonio, TX. We offer a very competitive salary and excellent benefits. As a land surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys in and around San Antonio.

You will use state of the art equipment, robotic surveying equipment, a cell equipped with specialized apps for data collection and communication with the office.

Project Land Surveyor

Job Summary:

The Project Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting land surveys and mapping projects for various engineering and construction projects. This position requires expertise in field surveying, data collection, boundary analysis, and topographic mapping. The ideal candidate will have experience using modern surveying equipment and software to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform land surveys for construction, property boundaries, and engineering design projects.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret field data for use in project planning and design.
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and legal descriptions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify survey results and adjust calculations as necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land surveying.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to junior survey staff when required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in land surveying.
  • Proficiency in using survey instruments such as total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of land surveying principles and legal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A valid Driver's License is a requirement for this position.
