JOB SUMMARY:Our engineering and design firm is seeking a Civil Engineer Designer to support the planning, design, and development of civil engineering projects, including land development, infrastructure, transportation systems, and utilities. This role works closely with licensed engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to prepare design plans, technical drawings, and project documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and engineering standards.

CIVIL ENGINEER DESIGNER PAY & DETAILS:Pay: $24 - $34 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

CIVIL ENGINEER DESIGNER DUTIES:Design site development plans including grading, drainage, roads, and utilities
Produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software
Perform basic engineering calculations related to drainage and utility design
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and permit application materials
Ensure designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and standards
Assist with cost estimates, schedules, and project coordination tasks
Conduct occasional field visits to review site conditions and project progress

CIVIL ENGINEER DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:REQUIRED:
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred but not required depending on experience)
0-5+ years of experience in civil design, land development, or related engineering work
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar engineering design software
Basic understanding of engineering standards and permitting processes
Strong problem-solving, technical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

BONUS / PREFERRED:
EIT certification or actively pursuing certification

Experience with hydrology/hydraulics software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS)
Experience in municipal infrastructure or land development projects
