Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $53/hr on W2
OEM Vehicle Validation & Issue Troubleshooting Specialist Primary Responsibilities Vehicle Support- Provide development powertrain system support and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, controls, and electronic systems.
- Perform system-level troubleshooting on vehicle powertrain components.
- Follow established troubleshooting procedures and diagnostic trees where available.
- Apply engineering judgment to identify root causes when standard procedures are not available.
- Collaborate with technicians to investigate, diagnose, and resolve vehicle issues.
- Track issues with clear documentation of findings, corrective actions, and outcomes.
- Communicate investigation plans, progress, and resolutions to engineers, technicians, and customers.
- Utilize Calterm and other engineering tools to download ECM software and calibrations.
- Support vehicle validation activities, including:
- Data collection and analysis
- Engine condition overrides
- Issue identification and resolution during validation testing
- Documentation of validation results and findings
- Maintain accurate issue-tracking records and technical documentation.
- Use existing reporting processes and develop new documentation methods when needed.
- Ensure clear and timely communication across stakeholders.
- Experience troubleshooting vehicle systems.
- Background as a heavy-duty technician, service technician, service advisor, or similar role is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience working with engines and related vehicle systems.
- Previous experience working within a corporate environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and provide regular status updates.
- Familiarity with ECM software and calibration tools.
- Experience supporting vehicle validation and testing activities.
- Knowledge of powertrain, electronic control, and diagnostic systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
