Job Title

Electrical/Electronic Installation Design Engineer (Experienced, Senior or Consultant) – The Boeing Company – San Antonio, TX or Oklahoma City, OK.

• Experienced (Level3): Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs; analyzes results and performs design reviews; develops electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs; provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies; documents processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities; develops basic statements of work; participates in technical review of supplier capabilities; analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design;
  
  works under general direction.
• Senior (Level4): Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs; analyzes results and performs design reviews; leads team to analyze results and perform design reviews; provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies; documents processes, specifications, and procedures; develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets; performs technical review of supplier capabilities; works under minimal direction.
• Consultant (Level5): Provides guidance in development of cable/wire harness and electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs; directs multiple teams to analyze complex results; provides guidance on engineering design disposition; defines processes, specifications, and procedures; directs development of complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets; directs technical review of supplier capabilities; directs development of functional and physical design requirements; assesses and resolves product/process issues through the lifecycle;
  
  leads research into technical, operational, and quality issues; designs interim and final engineering solutions; directs cross‑functional teams for root‑cause analysis; leads investigations into complex multidiscipline system‑related events; uses innovative approaches to address nonconforming conditions; analyzes potential safety issues; represents the engineering community; works under consultative direction.

100% onsite at either San Antonio, TX or Oklahoma City, OK. The selected candidate will work onsite at one of the listed locations.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.

• Level4: 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Level5: 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Education or experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Active U.S. Security Clearance within the past 24months.

Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. Interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance must be obtained post‑start.

  Experienced (Level3) $104,550 – $151,800;
  Senior (Level4) $127,500 – $185,150;
  Consultant (Level5) $153,000 – $223,100.
