Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our Cities and Places team in Texas offices, but candidates from any U.S. location are welcome. In this role, you will be an integral member of the design team, performing site civil engineering analysis and design for projects locally, nationally, and globally. You will produce technical reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications, and develop project drawings and specifications during design.
You will also provide services during construction support phases.
As a Civil Engineering Professional, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing site civil engineering analysis and design
- Designing utilities systems, pavements, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion & sediment control
- Producing technical reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications
- Developing project drawings and technical specifications during design
- Providing construction support during construction phases
You will have opportunities to grow professionally through challenging projects and by working closely with multi‑disciplined design teams, Senior Project Managers, and clients.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)
- Minimum of 8 years relevant professional experience on infrastructure, building/facilities–related site civil design projects
- Strong background in plan production and project execution while leading design teams
- Experience working in a multi‑discipline team with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Construction support services experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- AutoCAD Civil3D design experience
- Experience developing labor budgets for civil engineering design efforts
- Project management experience
- Hands‑on construction support experience
- Experience with alternate delivery methods (Design‑Build, CMAR/CM‑GC, and/or EPC projects)
Compensation for this position includes a base salary range of $ to $, with actual pay determined by location and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), company stock purchase options, deferred compensation plans, and Unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) for full‑time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, and caregiver leave.
