Database Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Database Engineer with Security Clearance
We are hiring a highly experienced database engineer to support complex, mission-driven systems in a secure environment. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep expertise in database architecture, data modeling, and system design, and enjoys driving performance and reliability across enterprise-scale solutions. What You'll Do
* Serve as a subject matter expert across database engineering and system design efforts
* Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvements and define technical requirements
* Develop requirements documentation, functional models, and system architectures
* Design and implement database solutions within multi-tiered environments
* Build and maintain database structures, schemas, and data models
* Develop and maintain automated installation and deployment scripts
* Support planning, analysis, and execution of engineering and technical initiatives What You'll Bring
* Active TS/SCI clearance
* Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX up to five days per week
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience Experience Requirements:
* At least 10 years of experience in the functional area
* 10 years of combined experience across:
* Database development and software engineering
* Database design and data modeling
* Requirements analysis and generation
* Systems and software architecture development
* 5 years of experience working with EnterpriseDB
* 7 years of experience with Postgre

SQL Technical Capabilities:
* Proven experience developing and maintaining automated installation scripts
* Hands-on experience building database solutions in multi-tiered environments
