Product Repair / Modification Technician – Avionics
San Antonio, TX | Full-Time | Onsite
Pay: $35/hr (No A&P License) | $40/hr (A&P License)
Duration: 9-Month Contract with potential for extension or conversion
We are seeking experienced Aircraft Avionics Technicians to support a high-profile aircraft modification and maintenance program. This role involves troubleshooting, testing, installation, modification, and repair of aircraft avionics systems in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Qualifications:
- 4+ years of aircraft avionics experience
- Experience with 747 aircraft platforms
- Background with Comm/Nav, Data Links, Radar, Electronic Warfare, or related avionics systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical manuals
- Experience with aircraft computer systems and troubleshooting
- Aircraft modification experience preferred
- A&P License highly desired
- Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed
- Opportunity to obtain a Secret Clearance after start
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 35 lbs
