We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Aircraft Inspection for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Antonio, TX
. Details of the position are as follows:
- Pay is $36.38/hr to start!
- 6-month assignment with the potential for extension based on performance and budget
- Shift: 4x10 (A shift: Sun-Wed, B shift: Wed-Sat), must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift
- Performs inspections of electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, and related aircraft electrical installations to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications
- Inspector implements quality assurance and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations
- Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing ongoing reviews of work for compliance with requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting or working with aircraft electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, or related electrical installations
- Minimum of 5 years of Aerospace Quality Inspection experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing product or process inspections
- Minimum of 5 years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints
- Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
- Electrical inspection experience on aircraft systems, avionics, wiring, or integrated electrical components
- Experience working with large aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) inspections
- Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or sufficient experience to obtain an FAA Repairman Certificate
- Experience with 7XX airplane and/or Military aircraft
- Experience with Executive Fleet aircraft
