Senior Systems Engineer

Location:
Lackland AFB, TX (5x per week)

Security Clearance: TS w/ SCI eligibility

• Designing, developing, and integrating complex systems within hybrid or multi-cloud environments
• Leading systems engineering efforts to define requirements, conduct trade studies, and develop technical specifications
• Managing system life cycles including development, testing, deployment, and sustainment phases
• Supporting Agile teams by aligning system design with iterative development practices
• Automating infrastructure and development tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies
• Developing and deploying containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software, network, and security engineers to deliver integrated solutions

• System architecture and integration for large scale, distributed systems
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions
• Networking concepts, including virtual private cloud (VPC), load balancing, and DNS management
• Security best practices for systems engineering, including implementation of RBAC, encryption, and compliance with standards like NIST or RMF
• Monitoring and optimizing system performance using tools like Prometheus, Splunk, or Grafana
• Developing custom scripts and automation using Python, Bash, or Power Shell
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, or equivalent
