Our client is seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of municipal and industrial wastewater infrastructure projects. This is a key technical role with project oversight responsibilities, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop innovative and compliant water solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems

Manage technical deliverables, budgets, and schedules for assigned projects

Review and approve engineering drawings, reports, and specifications

Provide mentorship and oversight to junior designers and engineers

Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, and contractors

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety standards

Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

8+ years of relevant experience in wastewater infrastructure projects

Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Expertise in wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics, and piping systems

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D; knowledge of Revit, GIS, or modeling tools (e.g., SewerCAD, Info Works) a plus

Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills

Preferred:

Experience with design-build or public infrastructure delivery methods

Prior experience with regulatory permitting and utility coordination

Familiarity with sustainable water/wastewater solutions or water reuse systems
