Mechanical Engineer
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in Southeast Asia and East Africa. PMG provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide, supporting the US Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
We are seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Engineer to ensure that mechanical systems and installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will conduct frequent inspections during installation and final completion stages.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct QC surveillance and inspections for mechanical installations.
- Monitor mechanical construction activities to ensure compliance with design and specifications.
- Perform installation inspections and final acceptance inspections.
- Coordinate with construction teams to address quality issues.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience or 5 years of supervising mechanical construction work in the field.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems used in building construction.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
