HSE Supervisor – Utility‑Scale Solar PV / Renewable Energy Project (Texas)
Basis North America is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to support a major utility‑scale Solar PV / renewable energy project in Texas.
ResponsibilitiesProvide field‑based HSE oversight, including audits, inspections, and compliance checks, and support energization and other high‑risk construction activities.
Qualifications- Minimum of 7 years of HSE management experience in construction environments.
- Direct experience supporting Solar PV / renewable energy / power projects.
- Perform independent HSE oversight, including audits, inspections, and field compliance checks.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety and HV safety supervision.
- Experience supporting energization activities and other high‑risk construction activities.
- Working knowledge of Permit‑to‑Work and LOTO systems.
- Training in applicable safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and electrical safety standards.
- Ability to work closely with EPC contractors, site teams, and project stakeholders.
Must have real experience in Solar PV, renewable energy, or power project environments; experience only in general safety, manufacturing, logistics, or non‑energy environments may not be sufficient.
