Building Enclosure Project Manager
A leading provider of testing, inspection, and consulting services within the built environment is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Manager to join their growing Building Science team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of new construction and existing building projects, with clear progression into technical leadership and client development.
RoleYou will play a key role in delivering building enclosure consulting services across a range of project types. This position combines project management, technical delivery, and client-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Support design consulting and peer reviews of building enclosure systems
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals
- Perform field testing, including water penetration and enclosure performance testing
- Provide construction administration support, including site visits and inspections
- Conduct forensic investigations and document existing building conditions
- Assist with remediation design for enclosure systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
- Prepare clear, professional technical reports
- Develop sketches and markups using Bluebeam or similar tools
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with 1+ year of experience in building enclosure consulting, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong understanding of building enclosure systems and construction practices
- Experience managing projects from small to large scale
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Comfortable working in both office and field settings, including at height
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required
- Valid driver's license
- Preferred:
Professional licensure (PE, RA, or equivalent) - Experience across a variety of building types
- Familiarity with façade investigations and leak diagnostics
- Knowledge of ASTM testing for air and water infiltration
- Safety certifications (e.g., scaffold training)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
