Our Project Engineers contribute by creating structural and mechanical designs that meet technical requirements, cost, and schedule criteria for our customers.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Project design and development experience working in a team environment
- Ability to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings/blueprints
- Experience with design and modeling in CAD
- Familiarity with Project Management techniques and tools;
Engineering data management system experience - Manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly experience
- Familiarity with 2D layout in AutoCAD and exposure to BIM workflow in Revit or Navisworks
- Conceptualize and develop drawings with calculated dimensions, tolerances, and materials per company standards.
- Perform 3D solids modeling as required.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production to identify and resolve complex technical problems and ensure timely project execution.
- Assist in stress, strength, weight distribution, center-of-gravity calculations.
- Develop and maintain clear project definitions and scope through design, manufacturing, and implementation.
- Maintain up-to-date files, records, and schedules of drafting and engineering documentation.
- Act as the project point person, supporting Manufacturing, Sales, and other departments in interpreting drawings and documents.
