- This is a very interesting company. Three plants in this location:
Glass Melting plant; thermal plastic road marking plant; and a roll marking tape. This Engineer will support all three plants. Never a dull moment! - If you like country music or a night out on the town, Nashville, TN is a short drive.
- Normal hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00 pm

Your Role with the Company:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for recommending, implementing, and monitoring optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. This position also researches the purchase of or upgrades to existing equipment, including definition of requirements, specification reviews, developing program timelines and reports, design reviews, creating schematics, documentation packages, and scale up to production.
What you will need:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or related Engineering degree required
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in GLASS manufacturing or any significant materials handling environment is required.
- Material Handling experience is a strong plus to assist in the addition of a new silo. Experience with motors, conveying systems, air compression a strong plus.
