Based at the headquarters in Guyancourt, within the metal structure competency center of the central engineering of Bouygues Bâtiment International, you will position yourself as a metal structure specialist in the calculation of materials intended for the realization of our projects in France and internationally.

• Carry out feasibility studies and pre-dimensioning of structures to establish estimates
• Propose design solutions taking into account manufacturing constraints, assembly aspect in coherence with all trades
• Write execution calculation notes and assumptions notes
• Communicate to the project manager the necessary information for the realization of execution plans
• Propose any improvement actions in terms of safety, ergonomics, productivity and related to our environmental performance
• Anticipate and alert on open technical points

With an engineering, university, BTS, DUT or equivalent training, you have at least 3 years of experience in the field of metal structures, preferably acquired in a company specialized in this sector of activity. The desired field of experience will cover more the areas of calculation of pre-dimensioning and technical optimization.

You master the technical and normative regulation applied to metal structures, as well as the rules of technical drawing, construction modes of the building and construction industry and the EN NF 1090-2 standard.

You have practical knowledge of Autocad, Revit, SCIA, ROBOT, Idea Statica or equivalent, as well as the Office suite. You have a B permit.

You are recognized for your communication skills and you like to work in a team.

Regular trips between the headquarters, located in Guyancourt, and the material base in Chilly-Mazarin are to be expected, as well as occasional trips internationally or in France.

A mastery of English would be an asset.
