Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently seeking an  
** Associate Manufacturing Engineer
** to become part of the Executive Transportation Production Engineering team in  
** San Antonio, TX.*

* Position Responsibilities:

*
* + Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies

+ Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions

+ Assists with the implementation of manufacturing plans

+ Co-author the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for the build

+ Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts

+ Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies

+ Work with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience

** This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.*
* ** This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret and a Yankee White Clearance Post-Start, Clearance Post-Start is required.*
* ** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

+ 2+ years of experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, quality, etc.)

+ 2+ years of experience researching and implementing new technologies and innovative practices in manufacturing processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in aerospace production

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* + 2+ years of experience performing work per written documentation/authorities and knowledge of how release authority works

+ 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment as quality, manufacturing engineering or manufacturing

+ 2+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations

+ 2+ years of experience with data analysis and / or process improvements

Experience with the following software: CAPP (MeSci), Gold Esp, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, CATIA, ENOVIA, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
