ALL-Ways Engineering, LLC. is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to assist in applying engineering expertise in the daily operational task of preparing engineering reports, conceptual roadway design; geometric schematic design; and plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E).

• Conceptual and schematic design
• Roadway plan and profiles
• Traffic control plans
• Signing and pavement markings
• Quantities and cost estimates
• Develop concepts based on traffic modeling results, conceptualize the initial civil design approach for major highway projects, and experience in schematics design including both Conceptual Schematic Design and Geometric Design.
• Assisting with the preparation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications for roadway projects
• Coordinating with project team members, across disciplines, to ensure the successful completion of transportation engineering assignments
• Assisting with the management and multidiscipline coordination on roadway projects
• Supervising and training the work of junior engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Work in a collaborative manner. Serves on a project team.
• Willingness to cross-train and learn other disciplines
• Performs other duties assigned by Project/Program Manager or team lead.
• The role also involves communicating effectively with clients and agencies, meeting project schedules, and contributing to quality control and continuous improvement efforts.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration as an EIT or Professional Engineer is required, Texas PE license is required within six months of hire date (if applicable).
• 3-8 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering
• Experience with project collaboration software is preferred (e.g., Project Wise)
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Project experience applying County, City, TxDOT, and AASHTO guidelines
• Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills with experience in roadway or transportation design.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Bentley Software tools commonly used for civil and roadway design (e.g., Micro Station, Open Roads, Civil 3D).
