Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* 5+ years manufacturing planning/engineering experience
* Experience with GOLD
* Bachelor's in STEM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The GFE Production Engineering team is hiring an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX.
* Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
* Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
* Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
* Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
* Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
* Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
* Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
* Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
* Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
* Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
* Implements lean principles and technologies.
* Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs.
* Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
* Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Previous client experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Work in a factory environment and able to withstand those conditions (walking, going up and down steps and scaffolding) REQUIRED EDUCATION
* Accredited Bachelor's in STEM WORK HOURS
* 4x10 (A shift: Sun-Wed, B shift: Wed-Sat), 2nd shift
* Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request ADDITIONAL
* Candidate must hold an active secret clearance. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
