Drafter 1

The Drafter 1 is an entry-level position focused on converting field data into basic survey drafts. Under the direct supervision of senior staff, this individual learns the company's standards and the fundamental legal requirements of land surveying.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Processing raw field notes and data collector files into CAD environments.
• Drafting basic boundary surveys, residential lot surveys, and final surveys.
• Performing basic "line work" and labeling of easements, building lines, and setbacks.
• Identifying and reporting discrepancies in field data to the Drafter 2 or RPLS.

Director of Survey Design

Education, experience, and desired qualifications:

• Required:
  
  High school.
• Recommended: CAD certificate or associates in drafting or design.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Fundamental understanding of distances, bearings, and units of measure.
• High attention to detail and a willingness to follow strict drafting standards.
