An innovative clean technology manufacturer in San Antonio is seeking a Process Engineer to support plant operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead engineering projects in a growing production environment.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in process optimization, wastewater treatment operations, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs while working closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, improving process efficiency, and making a visible impact within a highly collaborative manufacturing environment.
With a relatively small and agile team, this role provides significant exposure to decision-makers and the opportunity to take ownership of projects that directly affect plant performance, reliability, safety, and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize manufacturing and plant processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability
- Lead and support capital projects, process improvement initiatives, and operational upgrades
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support wastewater treatment operations and environmental compliance efforts
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, EHS, and leadership teams to drive plant performance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Background in wastewater treatment, chemicals, industrial processing, renewable energy, or similar industries preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project engineering experience
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process changes
