PCS is a growing practice within the organization, offering a diverse portfolio of challenging work. You'll impact technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects, act as key point of contact for wide range of clients, and enjoy cross‑border and cross‑functional teaming. Support is tailored to your skills and experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will review complex individual tax returns for high net worth individuals and families, advising on income tax planning and serving as a trusted advisor. You will work with specialists in International tax, state and local tax, and asset management to deliver comprehensive solutions. You will manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals, reviewing work and ensuring they have the knowledge, tools, and opportunities to excel.
Skillsand Attributes for Success
- Performing high quality review of complex tax returns
- Extensive knowledge and experience handling hedge fund and Private equity K-1s
- Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies and translate complex data into client‑ready insights and deliverables
- Building effective long‑term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs for tailored service
- Maintaining reputation in your field by continually updating and sharing technical and best practice knowledge
- Identifying and reacting to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting with significant tax or financial planning experience
- CPA license or licensed Attorney required
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization
- Thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning
- Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Understanding of automated tax processing systems and relevant laws within your technical specialty
- Proven record in high net‑worth tax planning
- Proven record in a professional services environment
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to adapt your work style to work with both internal and client team members

- The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries within those ranges are determined through various factors including education, experience, skills and geography.
